Trench Drains
Trench Drains are an essential part of a safe, smooth functioning kitchen. They can be strategically placed in front of ice machines with grates large enough for ice to fall, but not employees. They can be set directly in front of tilting equipment for easy clean up and maintenance saving (see Tile Replacement/Re-grouting). When floor drains aren’t enough to keep your floors dry, or contain spills, it may be time to look into a trench drain.
At Avouch, we have custom stainless steel trench drains fabricated especially for every Indianapolis General Commercial Contractor job. This process is both practically and aesthetically superior to drains we see in some facilities and from our competitors. We often replace them with ours. Something to remember about our trench drains, however, is that they are still only drains. When it comes time to clean them out, it’s always a good idea to take the time to remove all solids from under the grate to prevent clogged or backed up drains.
